Module 8: Speed and Scheduling — The 28 Day Build

Description
Real speed in construction comes from coordination, rhythm, and repeatability — not rushing. This module presents the production discipline behind the 28 Day Build — a system born in 1980 when 10 to 13 percent interest rates meant a buyer's loan lock expired in 28 days or the deal died. Fifty-five homes. Twenty-eight days each. No second chances. The lesson was permanent. Participants will learn how high-performance envelope decisions and jobsite organization reduce friction, eliminate rework, and increase profitability at any build pace. The core concept — two independent paths of interior and exterior finishing working in parallel — applies to any project timeline, any builder, anywhere.
